Office certificate validation

  • As set forth in article 6.1 d) of Royal Decree 1671/2009 (Real Decreto 1671/2009) of 6 November 2009 , which in part develops Law 11/2007 (Ley 11/2007) of 22 June on citizens' electronic access to public services, every electronic office will have a system to verify the office's certificates which can be accessed directly and is free of charge.

    The validity of the certificate of the Tax Agency Electronic Office can be validated directly, free of charge, through the VALIDE platform.

    The office's certificates are used to ensure that dealings with citizens are carried out through a secure channel and a recognised public office, protecting them from any malicious intrusion by third parties.
